Overview
The Accountant Quits is a movement dedicated to enhancing the knowhow of accounting in Web 3 for the finance industry. The new product is tailored for the people who want to take their accounting skills and translate that into the Web3 industry, where the growth opportunities are endless.
Project Goals and Objectives
Initially, the task seemed quite simple at first – the client’s site had become outdated, so the main mission was to redesign it.
Looking deeper, redesign was not the only thing that was needed here, but a new corporate identity, and a fresh look at The Accountant Quits brand to accommodate the new product launch, the Crypto Accounting Academy. Our team had to analyze the old version of the site, think about the general concept of brand promotion and the channels in which it can be promoted, improve the visual component and accent the right offerings to keep the audience on the new site.
Design Strategy
After conducting a competitor analysis, I compiled several mood boards to discuss potential ideas and visual direction with the client. Following our conversation and selected references, I created several design concepts. After discussing these concepts, we decided to opt for contrasting colors that evoke associations with the crypto sphere and chose a path of minimalist presentation with a simple, understandable layout. To add some dynamic to the design, we incorporated animations with geometric shapes and animated icons.
Results
The site's redesign accomodated the new product that helped the client monetize the project after years of fruitless operations. The course's first cohort ended up a huge success, bringing in about 30k euros worth of revenue.
