Overview
Nansen is a blockchain analytics platform that enriches on-chain data with millions of wallets labels. Crypto investors rely on Nansen for identifying potential opportunities, conducting thorough research, and safeguarding their portfolios through its live dashboards and alerts.
Project Goals and Objectives
The goal of this project was to prepare the brand for the launch of its revamped product. Nansen has redesigned and redeveloped the product to make it more powerful, and now it was the turn of the marketing efforts to improve. The goal of the designs was to accommodate for the rebranding as well as the new product launch. For me, the goal was to maintain a great user experience, and make improvements where the optimization was necessary.
Design Strategy
Based on points of improvements we have found certain user experience (UX) solutions to be lacking logic, were too complex to navigate, or were plainly bad for both SEO and usability. Hence a crucial priority was to simplify the page architecture, making the content easier to be consumed as well as more understandable for users.
Furthermore, based on the changes in branding, new visual assets needed to be developed and I started creating visual elements such as graphics and diagrams using the new visual direction and updated data. An important aspect for me was the logic I applied to making each visual element. Since each element was quite complex, I structured them as layouts so that clients could later modify the data in the graphics and diagrams without compromising visual perfection.
